Brisbane to host ground-breaking cancer conference
 
In the days leading up to Evolve 2019, 500 of the world’s best cancer specialists will gather in Brisbane for the 15th International Conference of the International Mesothelioma Interest Group. The conference will centre on finding a cure and prevention for mesothelioma, and is expected to generate $1.2 million for the city’s economy.
 
Brisbane lord mayor Graham Quirk said the conference will stimulate ideas and establish collaborations between the city and a global network of research experts.
