Australia’s tourism going up, up, up

It seems that negative news is a dime a dozen this week, so we’re here with a scoop to rise your spirits. Ahead of World Tourism Day, IBISWorld has revealed that Australia’s tourism industry is worth a whopping $125.9 billion, and that the figure is on the incline.

Other findings were that the industry employs more than 600,000 people, China has overtaken New Zealand as our largest source of visitors, and international tourism in particular increased by eight per cent over the last year. Keep up the good work, folks!
